This is Apples second version of the Apple TV. Previously, it was pitched as a device for streaming content from iTunes to your widescreen TV. Now however they position it mainly as a movie download device.
To get going you need an iTunes account, a widescreen TV and a wireless network. Once you’ve got everything set up you can browse, rent and buy new release movies in a matter of minutes (or just browse through YouTube videos if you prefer).
Recommended retail price: $498 for the 40gb model or $659 for the 160gb model (reviewed).
