Nokia recently ran a competition for members of the press to test out the new N86 8MP phone. The goal was to take as many shots as you liked within 48 hours using the 8mp camera setting on the phone.
My submitted shot, a wee bairn of a lamb straying onto the road in Cornwall Park at dawn, was deemed to be good enough to place second. I’m happy and I’m sure the lamb would be too.
There’s more about the N86 below but here’s the pic, what do you think?
The Nokia N86 8MP combines a wide-angle Carl Zeiss optics and an eight megapixel sensor, and is designed to excel in both bright and low light conditions. The fast mechanical shutter reduces motion blurring, while the dual LED camera flash provides excellent photography and video capture.
The Nokia N86 MP features 8GB of internal memory – enough space for up to 4,000 photos, with the option of increasing the memory to 16GB with an exchangeable microSD card. The device also offers a bright OLED screen with scratch resistant hardened glass, easy photo management, full sync capability with a PC and TVout support for slide shows.
